Many people will complain that this is not a real photo but more a piece of digital art (and they're probably right), but I like it nevertheless. I like this style of a high contrast. -stephan

I love it. Please teach me how.

maybe it's just the effects you used on the photo, but the kid looks like she's got make-up on. which is just a little weird, kinda clashes with what i think you were trying to get across in the photo.

Wondering why you didn't submit as a regular photo. I'm sure it was beautiful, and a great macro/close-up.

hmm. I'm not sure if the harsh black and white contrast fits with the "innocence" of the face. But I like the great big eyes. 6

Interesting use of levels

If we had a digital art type site, I would'nt hesitate to give this a 10 hands down. Even if you can do this on your camera without the post processing, I still don't agree with it. This is a nice image, perhaps panning back a bit would help. It just doesn't have the punch that a real looking photograph would have, IMO - Inspzil

Interesting. Kinda creepy. Wish the shot was a little tighter.

Simple, effective, nice photo. It's a shame you couldn't spot edit to remove a few odd spots here and there (but that can't go against you as it's not your fault!)
