Most of the hibiscus around here is pink or orange --but I like the red best.

Red can sometimes be a cameras worst enemy and ruin a shot, but this is okay.

Stunning photo, really shows the waxy texture of the hibiscus flower

I love the colours. I'd like to see a little more focus on the ???? (can't remember the work ... pistils?). Good job. Jacko.

This is very pretty. It looks like it may have been sharpened a bit much.

Great colour but nothing really catches my eye.

My personal first rule on macros is - Don't lose focus in the foreground. I realize the difficulty preserving DOF on a photo like this with this much depth, but it can be done. This could've used a boost on the sat's to bring the color in stronger, but it isn't necessary. The photo is quite good, but its kind of like a good play with terrible first&second acts, it's hard to get by that initial part and have a basically unbiased opinion when viewing the rest of the play. Good Luck - Inspzil
