 I made the goblet from the burl of a Box Elder tree when I was in High school (aprox 21 years ago)
The lilacs came from my front yard
used natural light from a window on the right and a reflector for fill on the left, i had to use a circular polarizer to cut down the glare on the goblet

used the self timer then positioned the reflector and held the polorizer in front of the lens because it did not fit.
then adjusted sharpness and saturation, added a border and resized

I really like the flowers and they are arranged perfectly...I am not too crazy about the vase

Very nice composition. Background controlled well (excluding brightest part on right side). It seems like little bit darker whites may look better. I think intesnsity of color of vase somewhat takes away from beauty of flowers. Currently vase is maybe equally important element of image. I would prefer it was secondary. Outside of challenge, I would have desaturated it to some degree. Could work as black and white too, but desaturation would be better option. Good work.
