 We were out exploring rural areas and I wanted to at least take a few photos before a mean, Florida storm arrived.
This was a ranch entry point. Skulls on a post. The storm clouds creating an evil mood. I wish the sign under the skull was not torn in half or not there at all, but what can you do? I wasn't going to mess with it. :)

I ran some tone mapping and played with tone adjustments (Levels, Curves, topaz) layers to bring out the skull and deepen the sky. I also did some dodge and burn, sharpened and adjusted the color slightly to a warmer tone.

Just my opinion here but I think the torn sign underneath just adds to the feeling of this photo - a photo that I LOVE btw!
