 I took the picture in a light tent (used for eBay stuff) lit with a single tungsten light above to the left. I brought it into Lightroom, set the white balance, and increased saturation just a little to bring out the yellow and the sapphire.

Love the contrasting black back with white foreground. The colour of the rings—you main subject—is a bit pale though.
