I saw these beautiful birds last saturday. I appreciate the opportunity to see them this close, but also makes me sad to see them in captivity.

He's beautiful but shackled like some convict. I agree with y'all about birds and animals in captivity, I also avoid zoos for that reason. It makes me sad. Your processing is exceptional. (sob)

Wonderful image of a beautiful bird. I have to agree that while the crop is tight, for me it serves to underline the fact that the bird is captive. I know exactly what you mean about captive animals; that's the reason I've only been to a zoo twice in the past 20 years...but at least it's not going to get smashed by a passing speeding car (I see too many crushed birds of prey in my neck of the woods).

Lovely colours and overlays - perhaps the crop is a little tight (photographically) but otherwise really nice picture.

That does look sad, with him tied like that. Your processing reinforces the captive theme - looks a bit like he's encased as well as bound. He is a beautiful bird.
