I think Nigella, Love-in-a-Mist, are the most unusual flowers I have ever shot. I'm sure there are others I may come across but for now these are my favorites of the unusual varieties. Got several at the Rittenhouse Square Farmers Market yesterday. Triple tree farms from Lancasater, PA.

Shot with camera on tripod and cable remote release. Lit with for clamp lamps each with a 100w energy saving bulb. Two lamps were above and two below, front and on either side of the subject.

Post: Camera Raw adjustments in PSELements 6.0.
3 Crops.
Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation.
Adjust sharpness.
3 more crops.
Spot edit dust and distractons on petals and leaves.
Resize.
USM.
