 This is a picture of a woman named Vilma and one of her dogs that she saved from certain death out in the desert. Vilma owns and runs a Dog and Cat Sanctuary out in Pearblossom , Ca. where the animals are saved and never put to sleep or killed, instead they take care of them until a good home is found for them . Vilma loves all her animals and referes to them all as if they are her own children . She is certainly an amazing woman!

Greetings from the Critique Club!

I'd love to tell you all the stuff that's wrong with this picture, but really, there ain't much wrong with it at all. It fits the challenge, it's heartwarming, both models have excellent expressions and are well lit, AND you have one heckuva nice backdrop here. Your commenters really liked it, the score and placing are good as well. About the only thing I could suggest would be to crop out the posts left and right. They do provide nice natural framing, but the fact they aren't straight (and there's that wee bit of space beyond the one on the left) create a slight imbalance. Lovely photograph!
