 I went to school with these peoples. Im the devil in the middle and the vampire on the left is leon, Ive been friends with him since pre primary school. And the Girl lighting the cigerette is Lisa, Ive known her sense high school. We are all turning 28 this year :O so we have been friends for quiet a while.. We went to a bit of a bogan school. We are all dressed up for a dressed up party.. No photoshop on this image and makeup all done by me and I set up the lighting and the camera on a tripod using a wireless remote..

Greetings from the Critique Club!

I think this one was probably a little bit title-dependent to some voters - we could assume they were friends, but the picture doesn't convey that super-clearly (and DPC loves super-clear challenge tie-ins!) You mentioned that you didn't do any photoshopping - I went looking through your portfolio and some of the other shots from this photo shoot are considerably better in presentation. You've got the basics down well in this one - good light, very good with the makeup and such, and good poses (though I'm not entirely sure of the relevance of the cigarette lighting part) but it does need to be leveled, curved, sharpened at a minimum to bring out the picture. I can tell from your other work that you know what you're doing with Photoshop, so I assume you may be unsure of what is and isn't permitted in Basic editing? Anything which is applied overall to the photo (aforementioned levels, curves, brightness/contrast) etc is fine as long as it's applied uniformly (no spot editing, no masks) and in normal blending mode. Make sense? It definitely appears you guys had a great time! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
