I agree with Steve regarding the location of the shot - the car wasn't the best of backdrops, and the cut off feet are a bit of a problem. But that aside, you have a pleasing portrait of the dog, with a good tonal range. |

Hey Yiannis
I thought I had figured out which shot was yours....but I got it wong lol.
Now I reckon you could have transformed this shot by simply putting a ball/toy in the dog's mouth and removing the car before the shot.
Oh yeah try not to crop feet off eh :) |

There's no contrast, his eyes aren't sharply in focus, and you cut his front paws off. |

If I saw this outside of the challenge and without the title, I would never think of "Friends". I'm sorry but, even though I really like the image, it's not getting as high of a score from me as it would in a Free Study.
It really says "Sad" to me... but certainly the lone dog does not say "Friends" to me. I'm sorry. |
