Greetings from the Critique Club

I'm not sure how much I need to critique this image, as Lutchenko seems to have done a pretty good job already !

There is not much I can add to his comments, other than this really does have a snapshot feel to it, even though it is clearly a set up image. The white balance seems to be off, which can be fixed in post processing. Also, the image size is very small, at 500 pixels. Try utilising the full size allowance of 640, it may make a difference.

Funny, but weird

A funny and interesting take on the challenge.
Regarding the photography here are my comments.

Watchout for distracting things in the background like the shower curtain and towel etc as it tends to
draw the eye away from the main subject.

I would be tempted to crop out the towel and more of the hand.

Also I don't know if you have photoshop but desaturating the yellow channel removes most of the shower curtain as a distraction.
Now if that curtain is actually white then you may have a white balance issue in as far as it shoild be adjusted to suit the lighting condition, ie if you were using the regular lightbulb in the room simply set it to incandescent.

Finally I don't know if you intended to use a shallow depth of field but whilst the clippers are in focus the face of the victim lol is not suficiently out of focus to suggest to me at least that this was your intention.

I had a quick play with it and am happy to send the result to you if you like.

Anyway that's my input all the best with the challenge... 6 from me
