 Did a midnight layer in Color Efex Pro to create the darker background. Then I did a selective color adjustment of black and brought it up more. I erased back on part of the poppy. I also did a color adjustment of red. This isn't technically THAT great, but I still love the black/red theme. I think I did sharpening too. I forget. :~P

Beautiful rich red merging into the black bg. I love the shy little bud hanging its head in the presence of the prima donna.

Poppies! Love 'em. They're in bloom around the edges of the vineyards here now. I should shoot a few of 'em. Almost thought this was a Lensbaby.
