 Na Balam is Mayan for Lady Jaguar. She is one of the big cats at the Palm Beach Zoo, and gave birth this winter to one cub, named Maya.

The Big Cat Club members are the big supporters of the zoo.

Topaz Clean 2 (custom settings) on the jaguar (71% opacity)
Curves adjustment layer (screen mode) on background (52% opacity)
Soft light layer with brown and black paint to bring color back to the eye
Topaz Adjust crisp preset on the jaguar (66% opacity)
Hue/Sat adjustment layer to reduce a cyan cast
Added a stroke, increased the canvas size, and added text
Luko sharpened (50% opacity)
Resized and Saved for web.

Very nicely composed - the picture and the poster both. Good use of color on the fonts to create a pleasing overall effect. And a very pretty kitty!

This is a great shot... and I live & work 20 minutes from here. You have convinced me that I need to go back; I haven't been in over 10 years! I finally went back to Lion Country Safari after a really long time and really had a ball taking picture.
