It says "Step on your last cigarette" on the zebra line. The line symbolises the cigarette and there's a yellow coloured part which represents the filter but it's not visible in the frame.
So, quit smoking, what are you waiting for?

Love the way the wide angle gives the effect of everybody wrapping around you. Great shot.

The wide angle, the blurring around the edges, the writing on the zebra line, everything seems to work together to create an intriguing image. You're clearly managing to work with the lens and 'see' with it.

Thanks for explaining what the letters say as well, that's pretty clever as a stop smoking reminder.

I like this kind of shot. I have a similar one, also taken with the Sigma 10-20mm. Nice to see that you use it as well to shoot people :)

I like the way you framed the letters and parted the crowd.

The guy holding the little boy's hand kind of reminds me of messerschmitt :~)

Great shot, great message. I like all the energy aimed right at the viewer -- I feel like I'm in the scene.

And I love that lens!

Cool. Good message. While the zebra lines are the same, they don't write messages on them in NYC (wish they did though). Nice wide angle.

Yes, it is one of the great benefits of DPC scs.that we can get to see the everyday from exotic locations. I'm glad you included the writing on the pavement, because even though I would have no idea what it says without your notes, it gives a great sense of place.
