 This pair I found embracing on the mainstreet of town. My bike is my main mode of transportation here in Japan as they are with many Japanese. Having the cheap,fast and healthy option of a bike is one aspect I think I'll miss when I go home to Aus, as where I live in Aus it's simply not viable to ride unless you're accustomed to comparitively long distances and a substantial amount of slope...

I know exactly what you mean about having to leave a bike-friendly place. Europe simply rocks for bikes. People watch for you, there are bike lanes and paths everywhere, there are BIKES everyone. It's awesome. I like the gentle light in this shot and they are a nice pair, joined together by their "ring" (the lock).

I like how your removal of color helps the eye appreciate the circular and angular forms better. Overlap of front wheels and mixture of bright and dark agains the wall make a fine image. Bikes are an execllent form of transportation (when time/distance allows). I managed to ride one a lot when living in San Francisco several decades ago, and really appreciated having an extra low gear to deal with the hills.
