Grandma: "Are these domestic bananas?"
Vendor: "No granny!(smiling) We don't grow bananas in Serbia!"
Grandma: "Well, anyway, I prefer the domestic ones."

Great scene. Sometimes the real life is just so much better than anything posed/composed.

Just excellent. The cross-processed feel works well with this subject matter. I'd be curious to hear how exactly you got those colors.

I love the brilliant yellow color of the bananas. Great angle and great POV to get a "story'.

Great use of the wide lens! You have a knack for finding and capturing people going about life.

I really love the W/A zoom! It forces you to get right in there amongst the action. Lets the viewer feel like they were there! : )

No, it was a normal framing, but I might have kneeled down just a bit. I never shoot from the waist, and I'm never stealth either. I'm all transparent and I surprise them first and get the photos done before they realize it. I ask the questions later. Most of the time I have pleasant conversation with the people afterwards, and some of them are even willing to pose, so we switch the genre ;-)

Looks like a shot from the waist. Great way to capture people's actions without them knowing. Looks like the guy over at the next table was on to you. Either that or he was checking out granny. Well framed.

you have to love the old folk eh lol
Yellow is such a great colour and you have captured this perfectly.
I am laughing at this now because I can see the man on a similar stand looking and laughing as if he knows that Grandma is giving this vendor a hard time today instead of him...
Brilliant capture of street life once again
