Looks like the road to nowhere. Love the perspective and the promise of something wonderful on the distant horizon. |

Half a world away and that scene could have been taken within 15 minutes from my place. It is a lovely shot, beautifully composed, and as I suggested, strikes a chord of familiarity. |

I am absolutely loving your landscapes. Not the images I'd expect to see coming out of SoCal - just shows my ignorance of the area (as pointed out by Melethia. The clouds are lovely and your experience mirrors mine here is Northern Cal - you have to take advantage of the sky when you have it. |

hi again deborah ..
my mistake .. when i made my last comment i thought you were saying that the title of the poem was 'the road less travelled' ..
i did google it .. found out its actually called 'the road not taken' but near the end is the line 'the road less travelled' .. all a bit confusing .. :)

A very beautiful and peaceful scene. For all that the location seems summararily hostile there is a really nice palette of colours here. The road and the fence really help to guide the eye through the image. Nice work. |

Beautiful capture and I certainly wouldn't have said he clouds were over exposed.
I really like the fence post and barbed wire leading us into the scene and the motion created by the road as it seems to curve off to the left in the background. |

SoCal has some of the most gorgeous scenery in the world and I love these parts on paths less taken. The ocean is marvelous, yes, but some of the nicest bits are inland, where most folks don't bother going. Thanks for sharing this one. |
