First off, those clouds aren't nearly as threatening as they look! While it's true that we have more clear skies and sunshine than just about anywhere, when we approach monsoon season we get a whole lot of clouds even when it doesn't rain. This is an HDRI composed of three exposures, then I did further processing to accentuate the detail in the clouds, which is pretty darn amazing. There was no rain associated with these clouds, just wind wind wind.
My boyfriend and I built this little house with our own two hands (everything except the cement slab, we had that done by professionals). We're now in the process of building fences. We call this place the kat farm because since moving here about three years ago I've tamed and fixed many, many litters of stray cats. Many of them are still here :-)

Amazing sky. Love the cat in the foreground.
You have so many talents! Imagine the 2 of you building your own house! That's togetherness!

Yep - I LOVE those clouds but they look daunting indeed.

I so admire what you do for those cats.

Interesting and dramatic effect. I agree that the cat, although small, adds a nice touch to this image.

When I was in Phoenix (for my first time ever) they kept talking about the approach of the monsoon season. Now I know what it might look like.
Love the feel of those clouds, they do look very threatening.

The last few days, we sure have been getting those dark clouds - and no rain LOL
Even when it does rain, literally - we get three drops.

Those clouds boil in endless turmoil, quite a contrast to your snug and stable house (with a very nice fence attached). I'll bet it feels great to humker down with a good book when the wind howls.

Another brilliant image Colleen, so you are the cat woman eh lol.
All these wide angle shots are making me feel a bit left out and tempted with a trip to the camera shop.
This is like a scene from war of the worlds...
