 This was taken last Friday at the Richmond Zoo. It was the only day that time would allow for some zoo shots for the challenge. It was rainingg heavily and the animals were all inside. Being the only person in the zoo, perked some intrest from this fellow. In the past 2 months I've been to the DC Zoo 3x and Richmond Zoo 2x. None which were in the challenge dates. Was disapointed that I wasn't able to get anything I felt that was good enough.

Wasn't happy with the exposure. Any thoughts on processing tips that might help the image? The composition is quirky, which I like but feel it lacks natural color. Shot in M Mode and Jpeg Fine.

This is a fun image. It's hard to get a perfect exposure for this with the strong backlight.

IMHO I think the coloring suits the quirkiness of the composition. It's a bit unnatural for a giraffe to be eating from a candy machine, so it fits really well for me.

Oh! This is priceless! Great timing! In terms of colour this seems to have a blue tinge to it which may be due to the overcast weather. I think you could try using a warming filter in pp as the overall feel to this is a little cold, it may also bring out the giraffe's natural colours a bit better.

giraffes are so unusual and BIG .. !!!
its a great shot and i love how it looks like he's trying to get at a candy machine ..
its probably healthy food for giraffes and 25c worth is just enough for a snack .. but wotever .. !! thought the candy idea was funnier .. !!!
