Always wanted to submit a tiger shot like this to see how it would do on DPC. Well here is my chance. Hope it does not flop. There is a very very slight yellow toning to the shot, almost unnoticeable if one does not compare to pure BW shot.

It was not a great day , had to use ISO800 to get a good shutter speed / aperture combination to be able to freeze the action @500mm focal length.

Hope this one keeps me in the running with my semi-final H2H with Judi.

This is one of the 3 White tigers in the Singapore Zoo.

Well you beat me good and proper. And I think you will finish me off in the next challenge...I am not getting any time to concentrate on these challenges...hence the crap scores.

I like the picture... the sharpness, contrast and composition are fine... but i dont like the title, because i dont think any animal roars with closed eyes (and even if it happens, i dont this is the case)

An awsome shot, and well processed in B/W, with the line markings on the face I would have tried to incorporate more natural duotones, but the shot alone deserves an 8..

The detail of the tongue is great. The background is perfect framing against the lightness of the tiger(?). I love the crinkled nose/cheeks, and the closed eyes.

I do not know how, but I think that this picture called for some dodging and burning...the cat is a little pale
