 I thought it was interesting that someone lined up the toys at the local sandbox.

I had a concept in my mind that it would be an interesting shot with no kids playing with all the Tonka toys and come up with a nifty title to reference the economic down turn, as construction has gone way down around here. There's usually a dozen or so kids playing in the actual sandbox behind me in this shot. It just happened that I drove by and saw the Tonkas lined up and no kids, so took the opportunity to take the pics.

Looks like there's a sandbox engineering project that's shut down for the weekend. Nice capture.

I, too, am surprised they leave these toys around. They wouldn't last five minutes here.

kids .. little busy bees .. !!!
step back in time and i can just imagine the kids, who are no longer there, lining up all the trucks .. the mums saying .. hurry up, we've gotta go now .. and the kids wanting to stay and put one more truck exactly so .. !! .. finally getting up and running to mum .. taking her hand and looking back over their shoulder for one last look ..
