 Bear Rose makes me smile - my daughter has "dressed up" a beanie baby bear, and it sits next to an artificial rose enclosed in a glass case - a juxtoposition of the sophisticated / adult and whimsical / child.
Editing: straighten, crop, convert to b&w, levels

This is rather improbably wonderful! It could be any kind of story, and the bear in her dress and bonnet shadowing her eyes, which are still pinpointed like her nose, is wise and charming.

Interesting subject matter. This one is a lot more thoughtfully composed, IMO. The wood grain looks cool in this, almost having an ephemeral quality to it because the grain has decreased the sharpness of it so much.
