I totally agree with Tate's commenbt below.
The Cartier-Bresson forum link photo came to my mind, too.
It almost looks like a prison or dead end in the darkness below. Having a subject always helps. Thank your son for this Fathers Day present. A smooth skinned human against the rough textures of life is a good contrast. |

I thought this was a pretty interesting photo. Loved the variations in light and dark and the textures on the wall are awesome. Congrats on coming back, taking charge, and winning a ribbon! |

Fabulous composition! There could be a million reasons why the child is sitting there, which sets my imagination going (and I love that in an image). I am amused by the Croc footwear in this setting ;-) |

A fine mood, exquisite texture and lighting, and positively delicious perspective. Little boy lost and no where to go at the end of the stairs. No where at the top either, from what you've given us. Excellent B&W conversion. If I were a betting woman, I'd say that's a young Too on the steps. Definitely a departure, and an excellent one, from some of your other work. Bordering on nixter-esque. |
