Too dark. Underexposed. I believe a histogram will show this.

wish the first rider was in the photo more
06/07/2004 11:05:58 PM
nice effect
06/06/2004 10:39:09 PM
this looks more exposed for the sky, and includes the players! Good action, but not good for the competition!

"Team Sports WithOUT Players."

That lighting is tough to deal with. In that case, you might have wanted to actually make a silhouette out of the pic. As it stands, the sky is much brighter than the subject, but the subject retains enough detail to make it look imperfect. Good capture, though.

to dark in the foreground, fill flash would have been awesome, nice dirt splash, players? team?
06/04/2004 04:51:37 PM
Great movement to this.
06/04/2004 03:30:42 PM
Did you miss the "Without Players" part fo the challenge title?
06/04/2004 02:09:08 PM
not really a team sport
06/04/2004 12:08:00 PM
seems to me that the players are in this photograph..
06/03/2004 09:33:35 PM
The the riders not the players?
06/03/2004 05:14:32 PM
underexposed.

The lighting is a bit off in this one - it could work as a silhouette, but there's too much detail - I know it's hard to get things like this right with time of day/rain/clouds. Maybe a flash would have worked.

Cool shot but I can see the competitors. How does this show team sports without the players? It fails to meet the challenge.
06/03/2004 12:18:14 PM
too much just a snapshot. too bad the lad on the left got his front cut off.
06/03/2004 11:57:12 AM
I would say that the guys on these bikes might be team players, but that's just me. The photo is dark, and the composition crop cuts the left too closely. I like the clouds though.
06/03/2004 11:36:49 AM
Doesn't really fit the category "without player"
06/03/2004 05:34:58 AM
No players!!? 1
06/03/2004 04:12:22 AM
Quite dark, good capture at getting them when they are going so fast. Not sure about connection to the theme though - it was pretty specific about "without players".
06/02/2004 04:10:28 PM
too, too dark
06/02/2004 01:15:33 PM
I thought this was "Team Sports WITHOUT Players".
06/02/2004 11:40:15 AM
Got the "players" in it...Great shot though.
06/02/2004 07:01:41 AM
Surely you are showing the players here? Subject is too datk, the rider on the left is not fully in the frame.
06/02/2004 05:58:24 AM
You have include the players. . . .
06/02/2004 02:08:18 AM
This seems to include the "players" i.e., you missed the concept of the challenge I think.
06/02/2004 01:05:59 AM
Awesome action depicted here. I love the dirt ... I don't like the inclusion of the riders though because they're not supposed to be in the picture as the challenge says: Creatively capture the notion of any team sport without photographing the players themselves.
