 This is the entrance to the local Jinja (Shrine). As part of Japanese religion these shrines are where you come to pray for the dead.

I would love to be able to get rid of the neaon light in this... but editing it out proved to be more difficult than I thought.

Nice long exposure with good DOF and detail. I agree with you about the light - it is a bit of a distraction.
