 He was a driver for American astronauts, who where training for the first mission of humans to the moon in the Askja area in Iceland in July 1967.
He even drank whisky with Neil Armstrong in Akureyri. Really nice guys these astronauts he told me.
Hilmar is 81 years old on this photo!
