 Taken with a rented Nikon 16mm Fisheye lens during the 4th Annual Red Rock GTG.

While this is not the typical zen, there is a harmony and quietness within this place that is beyone belief. I hope I was able to share that harmony.

PP includes:
Convert from RAW
Color Balance to remove the extra yellow
Levels
Shadow/Highlight on stone
Again w/ screen blending
Clone out sensor dust
Clone out small contrail and small flare
Dodge & Burn
Reduce size, remove sharpening halo caused by reduction in size, sharpen mountain edge, change to 8 bits, convert to profile, add border and save for web.

Wow, what a perfect sunburst, and a totally zen feel to this. I've never been able to get a sunburst that perfect -- especially while keeping the foreground so rich and perfectly exposed. Congratulations on perfection!

Even if this wasn't so well seen and photographed, I would give this a 10 just for the job you did on sharpening. Given your attention to detail, I doubt if the speck in the lower right corner is sensor dust but I would have erased any doubt. -10

PERFECT composition and exposure. The swirling lines lead my eye up to the summit, which points to the sun in that gorgeous blue sky. A lovely study of the beauty in nature.
