I just wanted to say thanks for all the commentsâ€Â¦ only thru feedback like this can I hope to improve upon my new found hobby. This was a spur of the moment shot and a little difficult to capture. I’m quite please with the rating I’ve received in light of the fact this is the first time I’ve competed in anything like this. For some who has only owned a camera for a few weeks I would have to say I’m impressed with what I’ve accomplished with this one photo. I truly appreciate all the feedbackâ€Â¦ there are some great photo’s on this site and I am pleased to see the whiners who wonâ€Â¦ and I thank everyone for the opportunity to participate. I will continue to struggle as I learn to express myself in this media. Just smiling from ear to ear from all the great people on this site. |

This is a great rainout shot. I like the reflections in the water, and the fact that the base is totally underwater. 8 |

I really like this one... Good colors, great shot! |

I don't think the colours in the reflection work well for you here - although the top portion of the shot is quite a nice blue the bottom isn't quite as atractive. Also the central placement of the subject and the reflections doesn't give much interest to the shot. |

Very interesting photo! I like how the water reflects, except for the one shadow going over the plate in the center. Imaginative shot, though. I like it overall! |

Very intriguing! It looks like that was a lot of rain.... great colors, perfect title. One of the best submissions. |

This is a really nice photo. For some reason, my gut reaction is that I want to see a little more dirt and mud along with the water, so I think this photo might be better from a slightly wider angle. But I do like the reflections you were able to get in the water. Either way, this is a good shot. Nice job! |

Very interesting idea. A good focus would make the colors stand out even more, I think. The connection to the challenge is a little weak for me. |

This is absolutely beautiful. I love that you really captured the rained out feel with an interesting composition - really interesting lighting, etc. 10 |

I like the creative design but wish you had used a different shooting angle as I find the shadowed fence and post in the middle of your shot distracting. |

Now that's a lot of water! I like the reflections in the water and the mix of colors. Quite abstract. |

Wow - what a mix. Looks like a baseball diamond under water with a soccer goal reflected. |
