Challenge: From the Ground Up V (Basic Editing)
Collection: Eastern State Penitentiary
Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Date: Jun 20, 2009
Aperture: 3.5
ISO: 400
Shutter: 30
Galleries: Black and White, Blur
Date Uploaded: Jun 23, 2009

Taken at Eastern State Pen with my Ed Clarke settings, which really only work on his camera for some reason. The "hole" here is the camera itself.

Curves to up contrast and b/w on Infrared preset. a black frame.

And for you sticklers, no, the camera wasn't on the ground, just near the bottom of the window.

This was one of the ones that stood out for me, although I ended up not voting the challenge. Lots of dimension to this.

I figured this was going to be from someone in TS. Photos like these are usually too deep for me. I thought the hole was the bright light at the top, where one falls into the darkness. Oh well, shows what I know lol

I can't fav all of your photos but I like this as well as your Zen entry. Title fits perfect.

This is very interesting. Where is this taken? It looks as if you're looking down in a hole - yet that wouldn't make sense from what else is in the "hole".

I find the reflection too distracting
