out of focus, and a little over exposed

Colours washed out, perhaps overexposed.
Never thought of golf as a team sports.

It's a decent golf picture without a lot of impact.

how about some deph of field reduction

How is golf a team sport? Other than that, the sky is blown out and a tighter crop on the bottom would have helped (just below the near-white object -- apple core?).

The detail in the green is good... but it also takes away from the shot. The green needs more saturation... seems like you were shooting into the sun, which took away the colors.

Never considered golf as a team sport. I know several people play together but against each other.. Nice shot good depth of field.

Color is just a bit off.

team?

This looks very pixelated - and slightly out of focus (just slightly). The colour saturation looks almost like you're using a really low MP camera or a cell phone camera - but it may have been when you resized the image. Sometimes those resizing programs can do too much compression. Depending on your budget, you may want to upgrade. Good idea for this challenge though and I can tell you took some time to think about composition. Would have been even better if taken at sunset or sunrise - the lighting is a tiny bit harsh.

the colours are very pale, quality is also poor. too bad because the composition is quite nice, the paradox from the big club and the small trees.

Sunshine is bright and it will wash your shot out (like here) the colors are flat. Maybe try a UV filter or shoot in the early a.m. late p.m.

you have some loss of detail, possibly because of overexposure and oversharpening..

Looks a little overexposed. I think you should have moved the little dead leaf thats just in front of the hole.

image is overexposed - there's washout in the upper left, and not enough contrast on the green.
