So, I was in my homeland in my late grandpa's village and was trying to catch a bus to the city 50 km away. You see, the village is a real mountain village and sometimes the bus drivers don't even want to stop. This time the bus was very late and I almost got pissed off waiting there all alone on the village road, when some car stopped in front of me. The man on the right in the photo asked if I needed a ride to the city, by the price of the bus ticket. I agreed and we continued the journey together. In the next village, which is a little bit bigger, we stopped in front of a local pub. "Hey man, you don't mind me taking a leak here, do you?"- he asks. "Not at all, I've got plenty of time."- I reply. He comes back after 5 minutes: "Hey man, you see, I'm from this village and I haven't been here for some time, let's have a coffee together, my treat?"- he proposes. "Why not, but I'll have a juice, don't really drink coffee!"- I say. We sit in that pub, the waitress comes (a chubby one, of course): "What kind of big bottled beers you have?"- asks the man. She starts to recite but he stops her at the first one. "One of those for me and a juice for this fellow!"- he says. "Give us two beers."- I conclude.
After 2 rounds with the guy, Vojin, the man on the left joined us. You had to see that encounter, it turned out that the two of them are best men and haven't seen each other for a while, as my chauffeur lives in some other city. It turned out that Vojin knows half of my family too! He drank his beer in nearly 6 minutes, got on his mini tractor and went away.
Oh, and if you're wondering about drinking and driving - we don't drink and drive in Serbia, we stop to drink.
