 Cuicocha Crater Lake in Ecuador 10,649ft (3,246 m) is an inactive caldera. There is a wonderful trail that surrounds the lake and takes approximetly 4 hours to hike. When the sky is clouded the water has a deep greyish-blue tone but when the water is exposed to sunlight the water turns bright blue!

I am usually not that into landscapes, but I think this is really awesome. I just came across it and I think it is one of the most beautiful scenes I have seen. Wow.

Congrats on your third place finish. I just thought you would find it interesting to know that there is a Crater Lake in Oregon in the United States of America also. I've attached my picture from there.
The coincidence is the bright blue color.

Great well coloured landscape shot, everything here works nicely. This is the sort of thing I can quite easily picture on a postcard from some remote place I've never heard of.
