The child was in the shopping cart ahead of me at the check-out, and appeared to be fiddling with the purse, but then took something out of it to hand the mother, all without words. A beautiful child and so calm. Had my camera, but not the nerve to photograph in the store. Outside as I was crossing the parking lot I turned back and caught a glimpse of them and got 3 bracketed shots, almost at random. Cropped a fair bit.
Very last minute selection and pp - had one other candidate but the better half chose this for child appeal.
Not expecting much, so I was quite delighted by the first comment, and truly astonied by the second...

This is weird: posthumous' comment (and beneficent blue hand) was originally my second - a little early in the game I thought at the time.
By the way, if his red is what I think it is, it is indeed fantastic, and I have to admit it is MY favourite in the challenge, even though I suspect the photographer! |

| I'm just not caring for it. Perhaps I don't have a full appreciation of street photography. I dunno. It comes off to me as excessively busy, with my eye not being led anywhere, except out of the frame. |
