It took me and my son an age to get decent looking smoke coming out of the wellies. We inserted empty tin cans into the boots and tried burning paper, leaves, twigs and even bits of rubber. In the end we just heated the cans up and poured water in them to release steam.

So that's what happened. When I saw nearly the same thing in my garden there was no smoke, so I hadn't a clue. (Looking for another gardener).

Cool concept.

Oh yeah, this is fantastic, love the humor! I must admit the composition is a bit static. This would have also been great for the Ground Up challenge. Imagine a 17-20mm perspective from the grass, one boot tilted against the other, stormy sky, or shot at night with a long exposure. Creative concept, well done. 6
