- small bit of cloning to fill in some blue sky near the top of her head
- darken brush to knock down highlights in tree area on the left
- darken brush on upturned leaf on rose stem
- crop
- duplicate layer
- Virtual Photographer : color/dadscamera
- duplicate layer
- HSL (blue sat -100, cyan sat -20)
- erase away bottom 2/3's of HSL layer to bring back blue\cyans in that area.
- merge all
- darken edges
- resize

Well, I'm not a fan of Expert Editing challenges. Not one to do major digital workups much past Advanced Editing rules. However, because of a recent side challenge "Better Than Your Average Cup", I'm in - just in case I end up in the finals and need this entry.

It should be interesting to see how an entry in this challenge does that isn't a major fantasy type workup. I'm afraid it's going to get trounced!

I have to thank my wife for "modeling" for me (she hates doing that, and she's helped me twice in the last couple weeks). :-)

I liked the simplicity and the emotion conveyed. Nice job with highlighting the flower. I like how the rose and your wife both get equal attention in the shot :)
