 This surfer was just ripping it up on Poipu Beach. Every single wave seemed to be a new highlight real. I just wish I could have met the young man so I could exchange emails so to send him some shots.

Not sure how this will score in an Expert editing challenge - I only used a bit more than basic editing - but I loved shooting these shots - I have a whole series.

I felt this met the challenge nicely - the surfer was 'dancing' on that board in a way that was similar to the awesome and dramatic stuff that MJ used to do - but I guess others may have felt it was a bit of shoehorn.

Wonderful water droplets captured throughout, gorgeous colors, the composition and stop motion is superb, of course. And in expert no less, great score/finish.

eta: maybe next time a self portrait would take the cake!
