| I think it's awfully cute, and I gave this a 6. The lighting is good. Except for a touch of some wrinkle in the upper left corner, you got a nice clear white background. The focus on the puppy is dead sharp on the eyes & nose. Minor nitpicks may be cropped a little too close for my own preference, and the DOF seems a little shallow for the shot, putting the flip-flop slightly out of focus. I think that focus on the puppy instead of the shoe could be shifting the subject away from what it should be for this challenge. Of course, I don't know what aperture you were shooting at, but another stop or two narrower would have likely helped. |
