I hate Basic Editing! I'm really not completely satisfied with this entry, but I'm tired of trying to get it right! ROFL! I tried and tried to get the fishing line to disappear, but still have some apparent evidence (even after painting the string several different colors) and there are a couple of visible seams in the background.
I set up the background by printing it in 16 pieces and pasting them to the wall, then hung the boots in front of it from the ceiling with fishing line.
PP included: crop, levels, hue/sat, replace color (several iterations), curves, levels again, more replace color, resize, NI, sharpen, hue/sat, USM, curves & levels, replace color, save for Web.

Somehow i really like this image, the focus at the first boot is really nice, so as the background...the problems i see is that the colors are kind of dead, and i don't know if you used flash...i didn't like the texture of the image too, i don't know why, really...I may be totally wrong, but i'm not giving you a good vote for that.
