 Just trying to think like Ursula. :) Shot with a 50 mm 1.8D lens with a +1, +2, and +3 close up filters attached. Shot at 1.8. Used a reflector to bounce sunset light in the flower.

Well this didn't do as well as I'd hoped. I blame Yanko and mpeters for saying they liked this one best, and not because I am not very good at flower shots. :P

Not a bad shot at all, d.o.f is fine, Im guessing the lack of a sharper focus point in the photo kept it under 6, nice softness, maybe too soft for a single flower. Good try.

It is a nice shot but I think composition could be more dynamic and slightly less 'soft-focus' to have been received better
