 This image was taken at Great Langdale, the view being 'The Band' in the lake district, the path up to Bow Fell (and an amazing view!). I took this image at 6am after a huge rain storm that night.

Used a ND8 filter and grad for sky. The image is a HDR of three images, which has had some burning applied, along with colour correction and sharpening.

So glad you entered one of these shots Paul, they really are great! Excellent composition and the mist/clouds give this quite an eerie feel :-)

8 - Beautiful scene and capture and 'feel'. My eyes just want to see a little more of what is on the right, not just for added compositional balance, but that tree, especially, is an excellent element.

Not going to vote as I know this is yours Paul. (Saw it on Facebook) :) Seems to be a somewhat typical view up in the Lakes this summer! My parents have been there for 2 weeks and have hardly had a dry day.

Nice composition. Ireland? However, the colors (the greens) look muted. If the greens were richer, I think the image would stand out more and get more points. Just MHO.
