 Thanks to my friend Bruce - a truly talented pianist (and all around musician) - for letting me take his portrait. Used one soft box, one table lamp and one off camera flash. Cloned out a few stray hairs and reflections.

This is a great idea, but could really have benefited from some more interesting light.

Great concept here. A nice environmental portrait. I really like the angle of the shot. To me, it seems like there could be a little more detail on his right side, seems to kind of lose his hair and beard in the black. I wouldn't want to lose the feel of the image, but perhaps even a reflector down low on his right would add some detail? Overall a cool shot though. Nice work.
