This should have done much better in my opinion, one of the more interesting shots in the challenge.

I like the idea of the Black Smith but I feel that he should either be concentrating on the job at hand or looking more directly at you. It seems to lack that connection with him and what he is doing. ALso that light in top right needs darkening down, cropping or cloning out.

This is a fantastic location, wonderful toning, and perfect light. If only it were a tad sharper, this would be my pick for the challenge!

Very nice environmental portrait! I like the slight desaturation (although I suspect that's natural) of the background, and I quite like the widescreen format. And I really like the bowed wiindow on the right for some reason.
