i was not prepared to be so blown away by this image when i saw it as a thumb ..

I really like the set up and the shot. Would be even better (maybe) with the fans on.

Nice capture, if you really want to show how hot it was, slow down the shutter speed.

I find the fans gimmicky. This would be a great shot cropped a little more tightly with the fans removed. The wood has a warmth that really enhances the subject, the piano suggests something about his personality or interests, and his pose and expression are great. I think the fans kill the shot.
