It's sharp, clear, an interesting flock of birds. About the only possible flaw I can see is the waves are right behind the birds, so they don't stand out as well as they good. Minor nitpick, really. Didn't deserve to place this low, but It looks like you got slammed with DNMC votes. Turned out mine was not a pigeon either, but with only the tail feathers showing, I suppose few people realized it.
I gave this a 7. Still fits the spirit of the theme, I think. Maybe we should do seagulls next time, then all the people who live inland can shoehorn pigeons into the challenge. |

a classic shot, but loose pigeon relation with them being terns and gulls (as the title suggests) |

Yep, these cousins will do - I do believe they are related, as in they are birds, they are scavengers, and most people find them annoying. I think they're gorgeous. Nice presentation of them here! |
