I am seeing a trend in your shots. They are mostly out of focus. I am beginning to believe that this is how you mean to shoot them.
The eyes are in great focus, the pigeon has a head problem and some wing problems. Your horizon is tilted, I am not even sure how you managed this shot, everything bar the pigeon is in focus. |

Beautiful and bold. The pigeon that ate Milwaukee.

You almost got him :-) Too bad your camera mis-focused on the tower behind the bird. |

Lacks a clear subject, IMO. A lot going on, without central theme. |

I wish the pigeon had a head. Also I don't like the focus on the building in the background but you can't really see much of the building. Also the underexpose(sorry) overexposed bottom part of the frame is pretty distracting. |

I think a better framing of this would have helped. My attention wanders to the eyes in the background before the pigeon. |

Ha! I love it -- the eyes looking out between wings and tail, almost as if compensating for the missing eyes of the pigeon. Too bad the roof surface is so white, but that can't be helped. Love the bird's pink feet. |

With the focus on the building behind the bird, I can't help but feel that the bird is just in the way... maybe the focus should be on the bird...? But perhaps it was moving too fast for you to focus or something. Just a thought. |

Heh! I like the eyes staring through the pigeon. He looks a wee bit terrified (the pigeon, that is) and desperately trying to flee the scene before the staring eyes get him. |
