8 - Well done - the isolated focus with an interesting (and balanced) background really make this. My only real nit pick is the manhole in the road right behind her.

Interesting shot in that the woman is so central in this image. No cars on the road, she is totally in focus, and the rest of the image has that great DOF blur. I also like how you've captured her walking toward you (and the viewer). Her sunglasses and neutral expression makes her look "cold" but at the same time sensual. I don't know, I just really like this photo...

The thumbnail makes this look like a snapshot, but upon opening the full version it is a nicely done model shot. Just the right amount of shallow DOF to give it some dimension and draw the eye to the subject. I can see this in a glossy fashion magazine.
