A great image, the large areas of shadow and the black suit are a great foil to the sunlit face and hand. Not a particularly strong link to the theme, for me. |

Exceptional use of light. Really meets the challenge on several levels such as dark and light representation of life and death and the young man partaking in deadly habit. a powerful portrait, the man looks stressed and trying to regain composure. Love this photo. |
