To me, the lighting was a bit off in this picture. I think it would have been really cool to use a longer exsposure instead of so much flash....with maybe even a slight soft spot light on just the boy's face.

Love the dual symbolism with the sun setting at the end of a life. With the dead trees in the background, this photo seems overwhelmed by death and leaves me feeling sorry for the little boy. I think maybe with all the death about, the boy should stand out a bit more. Lovely photo.

Petty about the street light (or whatever it is) on the left

Beautifully staged and the colors are vibrant. I see more death illustrated here than I do a combination of life and death. Although the boy does show life.

alot going on in this picture for me that reflects the "life and death". first thing that caught my eye was the sun by the light pole. then the "border" of trees from (whats come into my mind) the road and then the cemetary.almost like hiding death from the life thats going on. then the fresh grave amongst the older already lain graves. the boy holding the flowers is a nice touch. almost to me another balance there of one life starting whilst one has gone in balance.
