| my first thought was "wow." the lack of detail adds to the hint of death, too. In my opinion. |

I'm actually having a hard time viewing this challenge. I'm finding many of the pictures disturbing in content, but uninteresting or poorly photographed.
This one, however, made me say "whoa!" as soon as it came up. It definitely made an impact.
On closer examination, I don't care for the grain, and the feet feel like they should either be more silhouetted or have more definition. That being said, I really don't think that this is a photo that needs to be perfect. IMO, the main purpose of this photo is to evoke a response--and you did that. 8 for creating a photo that makes you sit up and take notice. |

| i don't think the noise contributed anything to the photograph. it made the hair on the legs look like compression pixelation - 4 |
