 August 2009 Snapshot Side Challenge.

I took a couple of photos of them and then thought 'hmmm, stranger taking a photo of a mother and child, not a good look in today's paranoid society', so I then explained what and why and she was all for it thankfully.

Now THIS has a story to go with it for sure lol. I need to run to the Union Square store and buy me a fairy too :D

This is so quirky, especially since the girl is sitting in the grocery cart wearing fairy wings and carrying a wand!! Nice catch.

In a way iconic. On my few excursions to large shopping venues children are frequently seen in costume, and/or in shopping carts even when way too big for them. Makes you wonder about The Life: the girl's expression says it.

Hahaha. The fairy's expression is priceless. Mum's happy and child is less than pleased. The expressions really do a lot for this.
